Chamber Event: Operation Partnership on SS American Victory
I just came from a great event held by the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Event on Channelside
This was called Operation Partnership, where local businesses in Tampa Bay get together with Active Duty and Reservists from the military and help make connections that will make their transition into a civilian career much more interesting.
I met some great people. It’s always nice to meet people who are enthusiastic about their business and working to make things happen. I have to thank the Chamber of Commerce for providing these opportunities to meet other business owners in the area.
Tonight’s event was held aboard the SS American Victory, a World War II ship docked here in Tampa Bay. It is now a museum and made for a great location to have civilian business meet military. What better example of this than a WWII ship converted into a museum and event location?
All in all, we had a great time connecting and seeing where we can help each other out.

In the video I talk a bit about my experience with the Tampa Chamber and you get to see the outside of the ship at night which is nice.

That’s the great thing about marketing online is that my reach to businesses isn’t limited to where I live. Sure, it’s good to meet clients in person and have that kind of relationship with them. But, from a purely technical standpoint, it really isn’t necessary to get them ranked in Google. I’ll be posting more about that later.
